Robert Ferri, co-founder of Nagle & Ferri, LLC,
serves as counsel to public and private companies, elected officials
and nonprofit organizations. His areas of focus include start-up
founding and early-stage growth, corporate development, business
development, investor relations, corporate communications and
public affairs.
Mr. Ferri has helped found, grow and finance a number of electronic
commerce companies, including online securities brokers, trading
and other transaction technology providers, exchanges, portals
and enterprise solutions companies. He has international experience
in financial communications, having launched and headed corporate
communications departments for The Nasdaq Stock Market and its
parent organization, the National Association of Securities
Dealers, Inc., as well as Montgomery Securities, a prominent
investment bank focusing on growth companies.
At the Omnicom firms of Copithorne & Bellows Public Relations
and Porter Novelli International, Mr. Ferri launched the San
Francisco-based Financial Communications and Investor Relations
Practice, which grew quickly to serve publicly traded and IPO-track
companies, as well as financial services firms, throughout the
United States. In Washington, D.C., Mr. Ferri was Executive
Assistant for Communications to United States Senator John Heinz.
He also was a columnist and reporter in the Washington bureau
of Thomson Newspapers, Inc., a chain of more than 100 daily
newspapers.
Mr. Ferri was Founding Owner and President of The Amherst News,
Inc., a weekly newspaper in his native Massachusetts. He also
served as Editor of two daily newspapers.
Mr. Ferri, who has a Master's Degree in Public Administration
from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University,
has a wide range of experience in politics and government. He
is a frequent commentator in electronic and print media. He
has been a guest lecturer at Harvard University and other institutions
of higher education, as well as a speaker to business and civic
organizations. He serves as an instructor at the ECM Certificate
Program at San Jose State University.
A resident of Sausalito, CA, Mr. Ferri serves on advisory committees
for a number of companies, and he is a member of the Board of
Directors of the Resource Center for the United Nations. At
the 1988 Super Bowl in San Diego, Mr. Ferri was a member of
an on-field camera crew for NFL Films. |

David is the founder and CEO of Upstream Asia and specializes
in brand building and strategic corporate communications for
Internet and technology companies in Asia.
Based in Asia since 1991, he has provided strategic counsel
and managed corporate/marketing campaigns for such companies
as Asia2B, AT&T;, eBay, bigsave.com, Calvin Klein, Citibank,
CNN, General Motors, Intel, Microsoft, Nortel Networks, Sun
Microsystems and techpacific.com.
Prior to founding Upstream Limited, David was senior vice president,
marketing and communications for Calvin Klein Inc., where he
established the regional office for marketing, retail and licensing
operations. In addition, he directed brand marketing across
Asia-Pacific.
Previously he was vice president of Burson-Marsteller, where
he was Hong Kong/China marketing director, and later, general
manager of Korea.
Before coming to Asia, he held senior positions with Hill &
Knowlton in New York and London, where he oversaw Barclays Bank,
DuPont, GTE Mobilnet, PepsiCo, and Polygram, among others.
David began his career with Cunningham & Walsh Advertising in
New York.
He is a graduate of Haverford College (BA Hons) and Milton Academy
in the US.

Upstream Asia is THUNDER FACTORY's official
integrated marketing and communications partner for Hong Kong
and Asia.
Paul is Chief Operating Officer of Upstream Asia and is a B2B
marketing specialist with a focus on technology and media businesses
in the Asia Pacific region. He has a wide range of marketing
experience covering old and new economy communications challenges,
as well as investor and internal relations.
Paul was previously Chief Executive Officer of Gorilla Asia,
which agreed to merge with Upstream Asia in June 2001. At Gorilla,
Paul oversaw all aspects of that technology events and content
business, including conferences, events and content material,
while making sure that the organization meets clearly laid out
performance objectives.
Prior to that, Paul spent nine years with NASDAQ-listed Global
Sources (previously known as Asian Sources) most recently as
Vice President of Corporate Marketing, heading worldwide marketing
efforts to its customer and investor audiences. He was instrumental
in the successful launch of Global Sources Online in 1999, the
organization's corporate identity program in 1998, as well as
handling investor relations throughout its NASDAQ listing in
April 2000.
While at Global Sources, Paul held a variety of marketing and
sales positions in Hong Kong and Manila, Philippines, including
regional sales manager for Asian Electronics Engineer magazine
(since renamed EE Times Asia) and marketing manager for the
company's technical electronics publishing group.
Born and educated in the United Kingdom, he began his career
in 1989 working as account executive for Team, a public relations
company in London, before moving to Asia in 1992. He holds a
BA (Econ) Honours degree in Government and Political Theory
from the University of Manchester.

Francis (Frank) J. Nagle is an investor relations
expert who provides a range of IR related services to THUNDER
FACTORY's clients.
Prior to forming Nagle & Ferri, Mr. Nagle served as a vice president
for Omnicom Group agencies Porter Novelli International and
Copithorne & Bellows Public Relations, where he launched corporate
communications and public affairs groups. He joined Omnicom
in 1997 from the New York office of Hill and Knowlton Public
Relations and Public Affairs, where he served as a managing
director. From early 1991 through 1996, Mr. Nagle managed the
public affairs and corporate communications practice groups
for Hill and Knowlton San Francisco, spending a brief stint
with E. Bruce Harrison Co., a Washington, D.C.-based environmental
communications agency.
Mr. Nagle joined Hill and Knowlton from MacKenzie Communications,
a San Francisco-based public relations and public affairs agency,
where he specialized in issues management and media relations.
He spent three years as a communications officer for the administration
of then Massachusetts Governor Michael Dukakis, managing media
relations and internal communications for the Department of
Revenue. |

Lynn Upshaw is principal of Upshaw & Associates,
a national brand and marketing consulting practice. He has also
served as a senior consultant to Interbrand Corporation and
BridgeStrategy management consultancy. Mr. Upshaw was formerly
Executive Vice President/Brand Marketing and Managing Director
of Interactive for Ketchum Communications Worldwide.
During his 25+ year career, he has consulted with business-to-business
and consumer marketing brand teams in such corporations as Visa
International, SBC Communications, 3Com Corp., esurance.com,
Blue Cross of California, Bayer Corporation, ConAgra, Kentucky
Utilities, Pacific Telesis, Bank of America, Thomson Newspapers,
Miller Brewing, Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, The Clorox Co.,
and DHL Worldwide Express. He has also served as a faculty member
of the Bell Atlantic Marketing Leadership Institute, will be
a member of the adjunct faculty at the Haas School of Business
at University of California/Berkeley beginning in the Fall of
2001.
Lynn Upshaw has authored books on branding including Building
Brand Identity: A Strategy for Success in a Hostile Marketplace
(John Wiley & Sons), that is in use in corporations and universities
around the world, and was recently translated into Chinese for
distribution in Asia Pacific, and has also authored articles
for numerous leading publications including Brandweek, Advertising
Age, The Journal of Brand Management - UK, The Design Management
Journal, and Marketing News.

RJ Valentino is Principal and President of
The Napa Group, a leading management consulting firm based in
the San Francisco Bay Area. RJ provides a broad range of business
design/effectiveness, organizational development and change
management services to THUNDER FACTORY clients. He works
closely with Jerry Dark, COO of Bowker Consulting International,
a leading human resources consulting firm, which is affiliated
with The Napa Group.
RJ's broad client base spans the fields of venture capital technology
start-ups, publishing, law, health care, engineering and construction,
professional services, and education. Leveraging over 25 years
experience in strategy consulting, organizational development,
change management, work design and process improvement RJ has
assisted executives and senior managers successfully build high
performing work groups and organizations. Utilizing Best of
Breed methodologies, he's co-developed custom solutions that
drive and sustain high performance and shareholder value. His
consulting and coaching practice emphasizes partnership. He
works collaboratively with his clients to strategize, plan and
execute business initiatives that drive revenue and operational
outcomes to an agreed upon set of metrics and outputs.
RJ serves as a consultant to Project Read, San Francisco Public
Library and to the Director of the Christian Brothers Mont La
Salle Conference Center. He is certified in Mediation and is
Professionally Credentialed in Organizational Learning from
the Sloan School of Business at MIT. RJ received his B.S. in
Marketing from the University of Texas with additional course
work at the University of California, Los Angeles.
