Building Match.com's Business
Overview: Match.com is the leading online dating site with more than 20 million members.
They recently launched a new sister site, Chemistry.com, designed especially for
people who are actively seeking meaningful, long-term relationships.
Business challenge: With absolutely no awareness in the marketplace, Chemistry.com needed to establish itself among the crowded "harmonious"
relationship sites already dominating the space. Making the challenge even more difficult, Chemistry.com needed to do so without decreasing the
current Match.com customer base.
Solution: THUNDER FACTORY provided high-level brand positioning to support the launch of this online dating portal. We implemented a nationwide integrated
marketing campaign, including online marketing, a media microsite (Whatischemistry.com), local/experiential marketing, buzz marketing, and public relations.
Results: Our fully integrated campaign helped Chemistry.com become the fastest growing new online relationship site in the USA.
