Building Omni-ID's Business
Overview: Breakthrough technology has helped make it possible for Omni-ID to become the world's leading supplier of reliable,
affordable RFID (radio frequency identification) tags for asset tracking and supply chain management.
Business Challenge: THUNDER FACTORY was enlisted to launch Omni-ID—and its products—into the challenging RFID marketplace in 2007.
Working from a blank slate, we were tasked with establishing a unique brand positioning for Omni-ID and executing it across a broad
range of communications channels.
Solution: Our team began with high-level positioning that identified "innovation" as the essence of the brand. From there, we created the
corporate tagline, "Identify with innovation," and a product naming convention. Those elements were utilized in our design and development of the
company's global website, which went live in early 2008. We have continued to build the brand through online and offline marketing efforts,
including trade show marketing and a campaign specifically targeted to I.T. professionals.
Results: The Omni-ID website and corresponding marketing materials gave the company instant credibility in the industry. Our subsequent tradeshow
marketing efforts helped elevate the brand to key prospects and drive the overall growth of the company. THUNDER FACTORY continues to work with
Omni-ID to strengthen the brand, generate sales, and expand the company's opportunities for success.
